The Body in Grief: Why Traumatic Loss Requires More Than Just Talking

This 1.5 hour training presents a trauma- and grief-informed somatic framework grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, and polyvagal theory. Participants will examine the neurobiology of loss, including limbic system activation, autonomic nervous system responses (sympathetic activation, dorsal vagal shutdown, and ventral vagal regulation), and shifts in the window of tolerance.
