Newborns in Need
Denver
Health Medical Center has long been known for providing
quality health care regardless of a patient’s income level
or social status. An alarming 90 percent of the 4,000
babies delivered at Denver Health each year are born to
families who live below the poverty line. Please join us at
HeartLight Center for a baby shower and donate new baby
products to help our community care for these babies!
Items to bring:
Disposable
diapers (size 1 or 2
Wipes
diaper bag
onesies/ undershirts
sleepers
blankets
bibs
socks, booties
sweaters
baby wash/baby shampoo
nursing supplies (pumps, pads, cream, etc.)
baby ear thermometers
picture books/infant toys
car seats
umbrella strollers
cribs and crib sheets

One Path, Many Views-
Come Walk the Labyrinth
You are invited to walk
the ancient paths of the labyrinth, walking together on
common ground appreciating being different and being one.
Considered to be both a timeless work of art and an ancient
meditative practice, the labyrinth provides sacred space for
mediation, centering and healing.
This time is open to our
professional caregiving community as well as those grieving
a loss. Jo Ann will be here to provide guidance and
support.
This program is open to
everyone!

Facing the
Mourning
A 4-week interactive support group for all
ages, types of deaths and length of grieving. The group is
designed to help with the grieving process by using visual
and thought provoking tools such as building memorials,
journaling, writing letters, and more.
