It's All About Love... HeartLight Center's 10th Anniversary. An evening of food, inspiring stories and a silent auction to benefit HeartLight Center. DoubleTree Hotel, 7801 E Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 This years honorees: Carole O’Shea, coordinator of the Victim Services Unit of the Aurora Police Department, managing the staff advocates as well as 45 volunteers, has served our community since 1998 in countless ways. Carole and her team served a significant role following the 7/20 shootings. Dan Georgopulos, founder of Hands of The Carpenter, a faith-based nonprofit serving single mothers and widows by providing automobile repair and maintenance in an effort to relieve the enormous financial burden and related distress that repair puts on this population and their opportunity for economic self-sufficiency. George (Skip) Noe, Aurora’s city manager, helped more a community from tragedy to healing following last summer’s theater shootings. He remained a steadfast anchor through it all, mindful of victim needs, community priorities and employee wellness, and supportive of the city’s outstanding first responders. Jennifer McBride, President & Co-founder of HeartLight Center, followed a dream she had 15 years ago to create a center for grief support that is warm and welcoming to all. That dream resulted in HeartLight Center having cared for thousands over the last 10 years. |

circumstances of each death and its impact on us can be so challenging
when someone we love dies suddenly and unexpectedly. Just trying to “get
our head around” what has happened can become overwhelming and deeply
impacts the challenge of integrating what has happened into our daily

Come and meet author Rachel Blythe Kodanaz and learn more about her new book Living with Loss, One Day at a Time. These sessions are applicable to grieving people AND professionals who are helping grieving people!
